I grew up as a spirited, creative, and curious child navigating life between two worlds—starting in a remote Nigerian village and later in rural Kentucky. I faced adversity, from fleeing civil unrest to confronting racism and exclusion, but I learned early on that resilience, community, and mentorship could transform challenges into strength.
